July 2019 Update

By Kaitlyn Szabo August 26, 2019

There is still time!

We are TWO weeks away from our big fundraiser! Join us in celebration on July 16th, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at PAIKKA.

Single admission tickets are $25. Group rate tickets for parties of two or more are $20 per ticket. Limited tickets will be available at the door for $30 each. Ticket price includes admission, food from Kilimanjaro, and two beverages.

Celebrate our continued successes and learn about our next steps to stop the payday loan debt trap during this energizing community dialogue facilitated by our executive director, Sara Nelson-Pallmeyer. We’ll hear from Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, and the Center for Responsible Lending’s Diane Standaert as well.

The program begins at 6:15 pm. Secure your spot NOW by buying tickets.

We have A LOT to celebrate.

Since 2015, we have helped more than 300 Minnesotans stop the debt trap by refinancing more than $242,000 worth of predatory debt. Our community-driven program has saved our neighbors more than an estimated $736,000

We hope you are as impressed by these figures as we are – proud enough to party!

Unable to make it?

We welcome you to uplift our work with a generous gift today!

Checks can also be made out to

Exodus Lending
at 2380 Wycliff Street, Suite B-100, St. Paul, MN 55114.

Gifts of all sizes are appreciated and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

UPDATE: We hit our goal and reached our match!

Thank you to everyone who attended our summer fundraiser. Together, our donors contributed $28,000 worth of gifts and pledges in support of our continued fight to eradicate predatory lending in Minnesota. We blasted past our $20,000 goal and fully reached our $15,000 match, thereby raising more than $40,000 for Exodus Lending!

Thank you to Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Diane Standaert from the Center for Responsible, and Exodus Lending program participants Andrea and Paulette, for sharing their expertise, passion, and personal experiences during our program. We’d be remiss if we didn’t also give thanks to Kilimanjaro Catering for the delicious food and PAIKKA for the beautiful venue.

And most importantly, thank you to all of our supporters for enjoying the evening with us, celebrating our many accomplishments, and always uplifting and amplifying our essential work. At Exodus Lending, we treasure our partnership with each of you in our quest to help Minnesotans throughout the state break free from debilitating debt.

Thank you.
