November 2021 Update

By Kaitlyn Szabo December 20, 2021

It’s (almost) Give to the Max Day, folks.

This year, Exodus Lending’s goal for Give to the Max Day is to raise $5,000 to help Minnesotans break free from the payday loan debt spiral. Can you help us reach this goal? Thanks to our generous Early Giving donors, so far, we’re 52% of the way there.

With your generous support, Exodus Lending can continue to provide Minnesotans like Allison and Barbara* with much-appreciated support when they need it most.

When asked how she felt after enrolling in our program, Allison said, “Relief. Encouragement. Support. Integrity. I didn’t feel at all being judged and that was very important because I was embarrassed. So it was very supportive and really, really helpful. I mean, it took a monkey off my back that I couldn’t manage.”

Another participant, Barbara, described the impact of our interest-free refinancing program on her financial health. “I just want to thank you again for helping me out because that made just the world of difference. It wasn’t a big amount, but it was enough to get your dignity back…and that’s always a good feeling. For me, it was fantastic because it meant that I could get my head back on straight.”

Providing dignified financial relief to Minnesotans, one by one, is what we do. And we believe we do it pretty well: we recently enrolled our 500th program participant all-time. With your generosity for Give to the Max Day 2021, we can help another 500 Minnesotans break free from predatory debt.
