I was introduced to the organization in 2018. I am a graduate of the predatory loan program, which helped me build my credit. As a product of refugee resettlement, I feel I can relate to many others from similar backgrounds and socioeconomic circumstances, where a healthy relationship with money is often developed later in life. I have spent most of my career working in the food science and medical device industries. I have previous experience working on student-led initiatives at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I served as secretary for Pan Africa and treasurer for Students United for Global Health. Exodus Lending is a fantastic non-profit organization that helps people in the Minnesota area achieve financial freedom. I am proud of its mission.
Who is one person who inspires you and why?
My parents are my greatest inspirations. They had unique upbringings but remained resilient and maintained a positive outlook on life.
