I’m currently Director of Responsible Sourcing & Sustainable Capabilities at Target, where I lead global efforts to advance human rights, worker well-being, and responsible business practices across complex supply chains. With a background spanning law, compliance, and sustainability, I’ve spent more than a decade building partnerships and programs that create meaningful social impact. My husband and I live in South Minneapolis with our pup Harper. I love learning about different cultures, especially through travel, reading, and food.
Over the past few years, I’ve been eager to find opportunities to have more meaningful impact on the local community. I was raised by a single mom and making ends meet was not always easy. As part of my current work at Target, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape financial security programs for workers in our supply chain. When I learned about Exodus Lending’s work and mission, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to help expand access to economic opportunity closer to home and help women like my mom support their families.
Who is one person who inspires you and why?
My mom! I watched her go back to school in her forties to build a better life for us. She became a paralegal working in mental health. Through her and the strong female attorneys she worked with, I learned the importance of leveraging your career and time to impact your community.
