“I first became aware of EL a few years ago while working with a participant that used the program as a resource; and Anne’s name was mentioned. I met Anne in person, and the way she talked about the work and how impactful it was to those in need; I became a super fan and wanted to help with the mission. I was formally introduced to the model while working with multiple clients and really was given a chance to see how it changed people’s lives first hand. So when Troye asked if I would be interested in joining the board, the answer was an easy yes!”
Who is one person who inspires you and why?
The person who inspires me the most is my mom. Throughout my life, she has demonstrated incredible strength, resilience, and dedication to her family. No matter the challenges she faced, she always found a way to keep going and to support those around her. Her work ethic, compassion, and determination shaped the values I carry today and continue to motivate me to pursue my goals and uplift others.
