With extensive 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance and managing risk for leading healthcare, financial services, nonprofit section, and real estate companies with broad-based expertise includes strategic planning, performance improvements, problem-solving, financial reporting, process and systems improvements, research and data analysis, communication, M&A integrations, healthcare, risk management, mentoring, relationship management, SOX, US GAAP, internal and external audits. Dedicated to providing crucial support to stakeholders, executive teams, employees and boards of directors.
I was looking to invest my time and experience for a Board service and then was connected with Sara Nelson-Pallmeyer through a match with Propel. I was amazed with Exodus Lending’s mission and vision, the purpose of its existence. I was not aware such services like this existed to help the community and vulnerable families out of the predator loan trap. I am reminded of all the families in my own community who haven’t heard about Exodus Lending and wanted to make contribution in extending the service to more families.
Who is one person who inspires you and why?
I find inspiration in reflecting upon single mothers who have endured and persisted unimaginable challenges, whether it’s making sure their rent is covered, utility bills are paid, food is enough on the table for the family, and children are appropriately taken care of.
